Entry Level Course
The Entry Level Match Official Clinic is for those who would like to become an accredited match official on 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 games and are 14 years of age (by the 31st of March) and older.
Small Sided Game Course
The Small Sided Game Course is for those who would like to become an accredited match official on 7 v 7 games and are 12 years of age (by March 31st) and older.
Course accreditation is valid permanently, no re-accreditation on Small Sided Game (7 v 7) currently required, however you must register with Ontario Soccer each year.
2024 Season
The 2024 Entry Level and Small Sided Clinics are now open for registration!
After a successful response in 2021, clinics will continue to be offered in a hybrid online and in-person model. Multiple candidates from the same household are eligible for a discounted fee on the second (and any additional) clinic registrations. The first student will pay the full fee. Any additional students will pay a reduced fee of only $40.00.

Returning Referees-Annual Registration
Annual Match Official Registration opened on February 14, 2024. Once again this year, there is a discounted rate the earlier you register. Go go the link for details. Registration fee information can be found on http://ontariosoccer.net/.
In addition if you have previously been a referee but have not registered since 2012 but wish to return you can do so by completing an exam on the current Laws of the Game. Details are also on the link above.
If you are a returning Entry Level Adult/Youth referee, or a Small Sided referee, please log into your Ref Centre account at http://www.refcenter.com/and complete the mandatory registration exam including any Laws of the Game changes. You will be able to register after you complete the exam and submit your payment.
If you are a small-sided referee and want to upgrade to be an entry level referee you need to register for and complete the entry level Referee course. Do not register as a small sided referee.
